Families and friends knew how wonderful you were.
They knew that caring heart that beat inside you, and
they heard that funny laugh you found so easy to share.

Your friends still bring gifts and notes to leave at your
resting place.  Ten years has passed, and the flowers
and gifts still come.  We still miss you so very much.

It is unbearable to not understand or know what
happened that last night you spent on earth. I
pray the angels helped ease your pain and held
you in their arms as the thought of you being all
alone is just too much to bear. No one should die
alone in the cold and dark. I wish I could have
held and comforted you in your final hours, but
it was not to be, and we live with the terrible hurt.
