Christy was my inspiration to create graphics and web design.  I had never had a computer when Christy was with us.  She had a computer but the internet was a rare thing of mystery. We had many happy hours playing Wheel of fortune and word games on her computer. She made banners and printed them off for her room.  the printer was not color so she took crayons and colored the posters and banners. Oh, how she would have loved the internet.  I had heard there was a world out there in cyberspace and one could find all kinds of information, so I purchased a computer, moved to Nashville TN. as there was internet servers there and got online.  I actually had no idea what I was doing. I purchased a book for dummie's but it was more confusing to me. I prayed for guidance and somehow the inspiration came and I began to make my first web-page.  I searched the web for backgrounds for my web-pages and each day I learned more about design and finally how to create my own background sets and graphics.  today, I have sites that offer free background sets, and free graphics. Lanes heart designs are a result of my inspiration that came from my love for Christy.

My daughter, (Christy's mom) feels closer to her as she daily visits Christy's lovely garden home which is Christy's resting place.  A family cemetery in the country. Christy was the second person to be lain to rest there. Ten years later it is a beautiful cemetery that has many graves. My daughter and other family members keep it up and many find the lovely garden quite atmosphere a comfort to visit their loved ones.

I found my closeness with my beloved grand-daughter here on the web.  I feel her nearness as I work on her web pages, or design graphics with her photo's, and most of all the support from others who have lost a child or loved one and grieve as I do.  I feel she would be pleased and honored when I help the others who need graphics for their memorial sites. I feel each
family member that I meet brings me in contact with Christy's heavenly friends. Just as I knew all her earthly friends.
